Invitation to Discuss WHONDRS ICON-ModEx: Crowdsourcing, AI/ML, Remote Sensing Integration

If you’re interested in rivers, crowdsourcing, artificial intelligence, remote sensing, and/or open science please join us on June 09, 2023 8:00-9:00 am PT to discuss the WHONDRS ICON-ModEx project that puts all these elements together (https://www.pnnl.gov/projects/WHONDRS/icon-modex). The science goal is understanding riverbed sediment biogeochemistry through continental-scale iteration between models and data.

Multiple lab, field, data management, and outreach positions for crowdsourced science at Pacific Northwest National Lab

Our river corridor research group at Pacific Northwest National Lab (PNNL) has 5 job postings for post-Masters, post-Bachelors, and current undergraduate students. The positions are diverse and close in mid-December. All focus on crowdsourced science around river corridors. The postings range from hands-on field/lab work to data management to outreach across a broad range of stakeholders.
