Detailed Site Description: 

This Shenyang Experimental Station is situated in the south of Song-Liao Plain, and was established in 1990. It was selected as one of the key stations of Chinese Ecosystem Research Network (CERN) in 1992, and was one of the opened field stations of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1997. The main research areas are focused on soil enzymes and new types of controlled release fertilizer, soil environment and remediation of polluted soils, nutrient cycling processes in agroecosystems, long-term observation and monitoring on the dynamics of environmental quality and on the succession of ecosystems, agro-product safety and agricultural sustainable development, microbial resources and agroecology.
