Brief Site Description:
Lien-Hua-Chih Hydrometeorological Study Site
Detailed Site Description:
The Lien-Hua-Chih (LHC) study site is located inside an experimental watershed in central Taiwan. Flux tower for eddy covariance studies of water and heat exchanges between land and atmosphere was operated since summer 2006. Measurements of throughfall, stemflow, and surface runoff for studying dynamic rainfall-partitioning and forest water balance were established in spring 2008. Measurements of carbon flux and soil respiration were available from 2011. The LHC was registered as one of AsiaFlux site.
