Brief Site Description:
Long-term monitoring site of Argo-forestry system from social-ecological perspective
Detailed Site Description:

Jing-Gua-Liao (JGL) creek is a tributary in a catchment of reservoir which supplies water for people's livelihood in Taipei, capital of Taiwan. The main artificial landuse is tea farm which accounts for 7.7% of the JGL catchment. Both upstream and downstream sites are built in JGL since 2021 to estimate impacts of argo-forestry system on water quality. Water sampling includes rainwater, soil water, groundwater and river water. Agriculture practices (traditional / organic), fertilizing and tea harvest are also considered to investigate the hydrological response to amount of applied fertilizer.
