Description: The Kansas Biological Survey (Amy Burgin) and Kansas Geological Survey (Sam Zipper, Erin Seybold) are recruiting a Research Project Coordinator to provide assistance, logistical support, organizational services, and facilitate project wide communication for several on-going funded research projects. The manager will also assist with planning of research activities, grant budget operations, administrative procedures and required reporting, and assist with running project programs. This position will work with students, postdocs, staff and faculty; if desired, the position has the potential to scientifically contribute to the projects, including co-authoring manuscripts and presenting data. This position is available for multiple years with the goal of becoming a career-track, permanent role. Benefits of this position include a flexible schedule and a generous paid-time off. Salary starts at $50,000/year.
