The deadline to submit an abstract for this year's GSA conference in Phoenix is tomorrow, June 25th!
We invite contributions to a GSA session T16: Building Bridges between Modern and Deep-Time Critical Zones.
The session is an attempt to bring together researchers working in either modern or ancient soil/paleosol systems (or both). On behalf of the session conveners, we are excited to announce that the T16 session will feature three keynote speakers:
- Gail Ashley (Rutgers, https://geology.rutgers.edu/people-directory/19-faculty/234-gail-m-ashley)
- Emily Beverly (Houston, http://www.uh.edu/nsm/earth-atmospheric/people/faculty/emily-beverly/)
- Jon Chorover (Arizona, https://has.arizona.edu/people/jon-chorover)
The details and link to the session are below. We look forward to great talks and some invigorating discussion and encourage you to submit an abstract if you plan to attend GSA this year. Not that GSA is early this year, Sep. 22-25.
