Detailed Site Description: 

Founded in June 1987, this station is located in Changshu City, Jiangsu Province. Being one of the key member stations of the Chinese Ecosystem Research Network (CERN), the station is oriented to conducting research on and performing demonstrations of nutrient cycling and management optimization for farmland eco-systems; construction of suburban-type models of efficient eco-agriculture; and theories and related techniques for protected horticulture in response to problems occurring in agriculture and the environment in the Yangtze River Delta. In addition, the station is engaged in long-term monitoring of the water, soil, air and ecology in the region.

Research topics: structure and function of farmland ecosystem in Yangtze River Delta and demonstration of sustainable agriculture.
