Critical Zone Observatories to foster Critical zone Science
The NSF-funded Critical Zone Observatories (CZOs) and National Office will be well represented at the upcoming annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union in New Orleans, Louisiana (Dec.11-15). Over 170 posters and presentations will be made by the CZO community in numerous sessions spanning Monday through Friday of the meeting -- see attached agenda for a list of these presentations.

The 22nd CMWR conference (Computational Methods in Water Resources) will place a special emphasis on the link between data and models, in particular in the context of critical zone systems. The conference will take place in the coastal city of Saint Malo (France) from June 3 to 7 2018. The deadline for abstract submission is November 22 2017.
The session most closely related to the critical zone are the following:
CZEN members going to American Association of Geographers (AGG) next spring on April 10-14, 2018 in New Orleans should be interested in this special session. We have room for a couple more papers.
