Critical Zone Exploration Network

This presentation summarizes the 2004 ECH2O probe calibration efforts undertaken
by the USGS. Measured vs. calibrated output is presented and the problems,
including site heterogeneity, are illustrated.

This protocol gives procedures and notes for calibrating the ECH2O probe (from
Decagon Devices) in organic soils.
